In Christchurch the police are out in force for annual 'elitist' Christ College versus Boys High game to prevent fans clashing.

 

 

 

Violence and rugby are inter-twined in this country.

 

Every strata of N.Z society embraces on-field violence, so it's no wonder we are now seeing teenagers killed on a rugby pitch.
