Mr Karma meets Zac Guildford

I took no joy on hearing Zac Guildford was recently assaulted in France. 

No one deserves to be attacked and beaten-up, even him. 

According to a sycophantic journalist at the N.Z Herald [09^th Sept] Guildford’s own propensity to get drunk and assault people “Stemmed in no small part from the personal tragedy that struck him in 2009 when his father died of a heart attack while watching from the stands as his son and his New Zealand teammates won the Junior World Cup title in Tokyo.” 

Talk about making-up a sob story to mitigate his alcohol issues and violent streak. 

If the attackers in France are caught and come up with a similar extenuating line “It is all linked to my father leaving me when I was 18” then I guess we should be similarly happy and forgiving.  

Only that sort of excuse only works if you are an All Black.   

Hung-over All Black Misses the Team Flight

The All Blacks are held up as some template for sporting professionalism in New Zealand.   

They set the bench mark. 

New Zealanders are constantly bombarded with AB’s in adverts from cell-phones to deodorant sticks. 

Even booze sales which is rather fitting given the propensity of the players like Aaron Cruden to use the product to excess.   

“It’s out of character”. 

That’s why my site never has anything to write about.

 

Every Winter Saturday approximately ten Rugby Players in New Zealand are assaulted on the field requiring hospitalisation.

The on-field bash in rugby is real, normal part of every Saturday.   

The statistics say so.  

Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) receives 250 assault-related claims involving rugby each year.

PS: Because of the lack of clarity around the incident there was no formal investigation by the CRFU [Canterbury Rugby Football Union] Cripes, don't these parents know getting bashed on-the-field is all part of the sport?    

Auckland Blues Player being investigated……yet again

The N.Z Herald is  reporting Peter Saili is alleged to have beaten a 13-year-old boy whom he caught burgling his home, to the point he needed to be hospitalised for four days. A vacuum cleaner pipe was allegedly employed by the number eight. 

His bro(ther) Frances got caught driving whilst disqualified in 2012 and only last month fellow Blues player Tevita Li admitted drink driving.   

Peter Saili joins a growing list of Blues players involved with assaults, police investigations there into.  

Rene Ranger (2010)

Kurtis Haiu (2011)

George Moala (2013)

 

They are of course just young men doing what young men do. 

Which apparently, in rugby circles at least, involves getting into a spot of trouble with the law.  

Naturally home-town hero Sir John will sort them out. 

He’s making he great job so far of maintaining discipline off the field…..NOT!

Hamilton School Boys Tarnish New Zealand’s Name in Japan

Hairy legged schoolboy players from a Hamilton Boys High were caught shoplifting clothing whilst at a so called ‘world championship’ in Japan.  

I wonder if this department store was recommended to them by Jerry Collins?

West Coast Rugby rep admits vicious assault

A pub, a top rugby player, an act of violence and an inevitable court appearance which will lead to a slap on the wrist.  

It gets tiresome highlighting these all too frequent acts of criminality by rugby players in New Zealand. 

Mass Stockholm Syndrome comes to mind at times like this.

Drugged-up All Blacks allowed to take the field in 2011 World Cup Quarter Final

It is times like this it is easy to see what an ‘old boys’ amateur sport rugby sport is at its core.

Your team is in the quarter finals of the World Cup and the a couple of nights night before the game two of your players are attempting to see who can stay-up the latest by consuming sleeping pills and high energy drinks. 

Fuck me dead, who lets this happen?  

The All Black management, that’s who.   

Management find-out about the players experimenting with drugs but rather than booting the players out of team – they cover-up by stating it was an incident involving alcohol. 

Which ironically it did, they were getting pissed to boot.  

That’s right the two players ODing on sleeping pills Cory  Jane and Israel Dagg were caught on the piss as well!  

Yet both made the starting line-up.  

Could you imagine say the Brazilian Soccer team allowing two ‘drugged-up’ players to take the pitch at any level of the sport, let alone a World Cup last eight game?!  

What would be the result of a Kiwi cyclist being found taking drugs and getting on the piss a few nights before an important track meet?  

N.Z Cricket has two incidences of a player seriously breaking team protocol days apart at a World Cup and letting them play, then covering up one of them by stating X happened and it was Y?  

What we now know is the All Black management freely lie to the media, only admitting the truth when they are about to get caught out. 

They also have continued to cover-up about cases involving sleeping pills and energy drinks stating (if media reports are correct) “there had not been any similar incidents he was aware of since 2011” 

I suggest Rugby officials type ‘Tukiterangi Jahna Raimona’ and ‘Sleeping Pills’ into google and see what they get.
