N.Z Rugby grants violent scum-bag a reprieve

Is N.Z Rugby that desperate to bolster it’s ever decreasing numbers; with a bloke that’s assaulted four innocent strangers out celebrating a birthday, whilst pissed to the eyeballs?

Half of the victim’s females.

Elevate him to a National Development Squad?

Apparently so!

Losi Filipo is rehabilitated.

He indicates trying not to say ‘like fuck’ repeatedly.

MSM in N.Z aren’t going to cut-off one of their main sources of click bait and fake news though.

These cuckolds aren't going to use a pejorative to describe Filipo any stronger than 'controversial'.

Journalists need to call-out this outrage to decency.

Be brave.

Suggest the bleeding obvious.

That is, if it was any other sport, in any other country.

Violent scum like Filipo would be tarnished goods.

Cut loose.

Further this ‘forgive and forget’ decision brutally displays N.Z Rugby's respect and inclusion programme leader Nicki Nicol, as is little more than a quisling.

A disgrace.

The judge at the time described Filipo’s stomping as "a chilling act of violence that could easily have led to his death".

With Nichols job description, how is it even possible to defend anyone that punches a woman in the throat?

Be on the same pay roll?

Part of the same team?

Shame on her lack of moral fortitude.

Former Counties Manukau Lock Caught Grooming U.S based Teen

The papers have dubbed former Counties Manukau Lock, Gavin Giles, ‘a predator’.

Giles, who was also the former coach of Papakura Premier team was caught sending indecent images to a young girl in Texas.

Judge Sharp describes Giles conduct becoming "more and more pernicious as time went on.”

"We all want rugby to be more respectful and inclusive, and the (Respect & Responsibility) Report has given us the impetus and momentum. In another 12 months we’ll be even further along on this journey." New Zealand Rugby Chief Operating Officer Nicki Nicol (2017)

“But I’m A Rugby Player” Legal Defence Ploy Goes Mainstream

When collared and placed in front of a judge the standard ‘jail card issued’ by professional rugby players, is the one along the lines “It’ll harm my future overseas career prospects if I’m convicted”

One read of this blog will see this mitigation is an almost guaranteed winner in any N.Z Court.

Only now, it appears you no longer need to be a top player in New Zealand to also issue similar claims, that a conviction will curtail your sporting future.

You only need to ‘dream’ you’ll one-day play Super Rugby or for The All Blacks & you can present this as a factor for the judge to take-into account come sentencing.

Even, when it involves the serious charge of punching another man unconscious.

Enter stage left Kings High Old Boy, Pesajon Tili.

Thankfully the Police and Judge saw through Tili’s defence ploy.

Regan King Con All Black

The BBC Wales is reporting ex All Black Regan King owes five women and two men, money.

The complainants come from Wales, Australia and New Zealand.

Money he allegedly duped out of them with bull-shit stories, like his divorce proceedings were frozen.

“Look at me I’m an ex All Black and an elite professional rugby player”

Who likes to gamble.

Apparently.

Well it’s more than apparently.

Seven people with the same claims can’t all be wrong.

Kings lawyers have yet to sue all the media outlets running the same story-line.

"Woe is me, lend me money and I'll pay you back"

Including the N.Z Herald.

Nor for that matter launched proceedings against his victims for defamation.

Regan King Con.

Rugby head lauds violent nut-case ex South Canterbury Rep shot by police

An armed ex South Canterbury Rugby Rep Donald Iveson was scarpering the scene on Sunday after terrorising his own family, when he drove directly into a policeman alerted to the gunfire.

The injured constables companion returned fire and Iveson was killed.

Good thing, if you ask me.

Not so, the rugby administrators.

Serial apologist for the continual anti-social actions of his constituents, South Canterbury Rugby Union chief executive Craig Calder, glibly dismissed Ineson's death as “a tragic loss to the rugby family”

Calder wants to reassure us "He was a lock sort of in the mould of a Brodie Retallick today”

So, fucking what you dick?!

I’m sure his family left cowering in their house whilst this nut-bar poured round after round into the front door were interested in this sporting analogy.

Fortunately, most people in New Zealand don’t think like rugby administrators.

Normal New Zealanders place the victims first.

We still care about the family that was traumatised, first.

The policeman lying in hospital, first.

The policeman defending himself, first.

Normal New Zealanders care little about some violent nut-cases rugby credentials.

Only the rugby fraternity wants a Donald Ineson in their ‘family’.

They are welcome to him.

Note: If you check out previous posts from the middle of the year, you’ll see the South Canterbury Rugby ‘family’ is plagued with violence issues, that not unsurprisingly show no sign of being abated given stewardship of the organisation.

Kurow Rugby Club must be the saddest, most dysfunctional club in New Zealand

Kurow is a small town in North Otago that can barely throw together enough fit adult men to form a pool team, let alone, let alone enough to field a single senior men’s rugby squad.

One thing they are not short of down the Hakataramea is the propensity to get ‘trolleyed’ after a game of rugger.

That’s what men-folk in country football teams do & have done for decades.

You would have thought the death of a club member in a car accident after one of these prescribed after-matches (2016) would have tempered this practice & brought some sanity to this small sporting club.

Made the local community as whole take-a-look at themselves.

Like fuck!

Here they are, at it again.

This blog features many rugby clubs up & down the country.

All for the wrong reasons I must add.

Per head of population The Kurow Rugby Club must be the saddest, most dysfunctional club in New Zealand

Richie McCaw should be embarrassed every-time someone uses the sobriquet 'The Kurow Kid'.

It goes without say another Rugby Pro Escapes Conviction

One pissed-up rugby star.

Heated late night domestic.

You already know this won’t end-up well.

By the end of the night she ends-up suffering bruising to the side of her face and waist, bleeding from the knee.

Who is ‘he’ in all of this?

Sevu Reece of Waikato & his court appearance was today.

Facing the charge of common assault, he was discharged without conviction.

Now replace ‘rugby star’ with say ‘taxi driver’ or ‘office manager’.

Ask yourself?

You’ll doubtless come to the same conclusion as me as to justice being served evenly in this country.

Up-Date Wednesday 03rd Oct: Irish Club, Connacht, that Reece was due to join has dumped him despite his discharge. Clearly Irish Rugby officials treat domestic violence differently than N.Z Rugby. If ever there was an opportunity to show decisive action in-line with the sports Respect and Responsibility protocols – this was it. Reece is due to play this weekend for Waikato. What was his punishment again? Remind me.
2nd Up-date Monday 15th October: Well what else did you expect from N.Z Rugby? They would act in the same chivalrous, decisive fashion as their Irish counterparts? Make a stand against domestic violence? You gotta be joking! Reece has been sent on some wishy-washy course, stood down for a single game. Wow! That will teach him a lesson, show the public that wife beaters have no place in the sport of rugby in 2018. Waikato Rugby Union sponsors include the likes of McDonalds, Vodafone, Waikato University, YMCA, The Breeze Radio Station etc.  These sponsors have had their name tarnished.
